Located in the heart of Townsville with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Great Barrier Reef, Ardo Hotel is a premier destination for relaxation and entertainment. Its stunning elevated deck provides a perfect setting to soak in the surrounding views of the ocean, marina and rolling seaside hills. This was the Perfect location for Retractable Opening Louvre Roofs.

To enhance the usability of their proposed outdoor terrace, Awning Worx was engaged to deliver a solution for all-year-round comfort. The area had to be usable in the scorching summer heat and heavy tropical rains during the wet season.

Awning Worx expertly installed five large retractable louvre roofs, creating a unique roof top of the Ardo Hotel’s outdoor dining and entertainment area set into a versatile space suitable for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.

Through a detailed design process, including detailed drawings and 3D renders, Awning Worx ensured the construction team at the Hotel achieved a blend of aesthetics and functionality for all seasons
