Over the last few years a few new roof top concept bars have gained popularity around Brisbane’s CBD. Brisbane’s latest roof top lounge and dining venue is taking things up another few notches in style and charm. Dirty Sultan draws on some classic retro chic and mixes it with a little roof top garden feel.

Keeping everyone cool during the day and star gazing at night is a massive 80 square metre retractable roof system. Under the stars and in the summer heat you collect every bit of breeze as it passes through the city keeping patrons and venue hoppers chilled. If a tropical storm passes through the roof closes and then opens again once the precipitation has passed.

Awning works took the new owners through our design process to ensure they were getting a stable, reliable system which would give the perfect design aesthetic at the same time.
