Motorised Blinds provide comfort and cooling for homes and apartments
The use of motorised blinds can play a big role in reducing the heat load on a building. The trend for larger glass windows and facades has created a greater need for better controls of the heat and Greenhouse effect. Solar radiation can contribute considerably to the running costs of building as well as the day to day comfort of it occupants.
Commercial building occupants can find it excessively hot and bright if they are situated next to a large glass window facing East, West or North. Air Conditioning adjustment might make the comfort better but then effect others not near the window. Glare can make it difficult to see screens and effect concentration during the day. Internal blinds will assist but they can’t stop the heat in the same way as an external blind which stops the light and heat before the sun ray enters the building.
Home owners can also be effected by the sun coming in on their facades but also it often effects their out door areas when they like to sit enjoy their view and entertain friends and family. I great view might also mean the area can be exposed to the sun at different times of the day.
The installation of External blinds can reduce the effects of the sun and at the same time create the comfort required to work or relax. Depending on the installation a shading system it can be use when needed or connected to an automated control system with weather detection. These systems can operate independently and keep you space cool even when you are not there.
