Operable Louvred Roof Systems are full aluminium systems with operating louvre blades. They can be designed for only sun protection or for both sun and water proofing terraces and outdoor dining and function areas. They have limitations on how far they can span compared to the retractable fabric roof systems however they often provide a very neat lower profile roofing system. When closed they can provide a very neat finish roof appearance. It is important to note that not all provide complete waterproofing so it is important to make this clear with the manufacturer.
